Founded by a practising clinician at Korle Bu Teaching Hospital, we take free healthcare to the communities the system reaches last.
How we began
It started with a clinician who saw who was missing.
Ziora Foundation is a Ghanaian non-governmental organisation, founded by a practising clinician at Korle Bu Teaching Hospital, Ghana's largest national referral centre.
The work began in 2025, with our first community programmes delivered ahead of formal registration in March 2026.
Why we exist
The people most in need of care are the last to receive it.
We take our services directly to schools, churches and rural communities, removing the distance, cost and stigma that keep people from care. Our three health arms, maternal & child health, dental health and mental health, reflect the three most underprovided areas of community healthcare in Ghana.
Community-based
We deliver through the institutions people already trust: their schools, churches and community organisations.
Free at the point of care
Cost is never a barrier to the people we serve. Donors and partners cover it, so patients never pay.
