Bringing the clinic to the community
Dental disease is among the most neglected areas of public health in Ghana — common, preventable, and rarely treated until it becomes painful and costly. Our dental arm flips that order: we bring screening, education, and basic care to where people already gather, before small problems become serious ones.
Why it matters in Ghana
Most preventive dental care never reaches the communities that need it most. Cost and distance keep people away from clinics, so problems go unchecked. Meeting people in their schools and churches removes both barriers at once.
How we deliver
- Clinics set up inside schools, churches, and community organisations
- Partnerships with qualified dental professionals
- Education that helps families prevent disease, not just treat it
- Referrals for anyone who needs more than a screening can provide
Our work with the International Central Gospel Church in Accra showed how faith-based community platforms can become trusted channels for preventive care.
